Dock Street had its origin in 1783 when United Empire Loyalists fled the American Revolution for what was then the Town of Port Roseway, renamed Shelburne a year later. Over the years and decades this area would become a hub of ship building, shipping, fishing and trading. With the passage of time and shifting economics, Dock Street has transitioned into the historic centre of the Town of Shelburne and attracts visitors from all over the world (including Hollywood!) to frequent its many interesting shops, museums, scenic routes and venues. What better day could a coffee drinker think of than a quiet sunlit stroll along Dock Street while sipping a coffee roasted and brewed locally without the guilt of the ‘caffeine fix’!
